The million pesos rum
One million chilean pesos is around 1,000 pounds or 2,000 american dollar, and yesterday, Havana Club announced it´s newest and most exclusive rum, Havana Club Maximo Extra Añejo with that price tag. Maximo is a blend of several aged rums, including some of them that are 100 years old. It´s bottle is made of man made blown crystal, and in it´s recipe there´s years of Cuban perfection. Yesterday I attended it´s launch in Chile at the Ritz Carlton, and had the chance to try it. I must say it´s the best rum I´ve ever tried and of course the most expensive one. If you want one you should hurry, it´s a 1000 bottle limited edition and in Chile it´s already sold out.

The biggest sandwich I´ve ever had
During my stay in Viña del Mar, we went to El Guaton for lunch. El Guaton is famous for it´s signature sandwich, called el Guaton. It´s based on pork meat and it includes almost everything one would need, mayonnaise, avocado, tomato and cheese. It used to carry lettuce too, but nowadays something is going on with restaurants, lettuce and the health department. But what´s most important about El Guaton, is that this thing is huge. You can see the picture right a side of an HP iPaq HW6945, and you will notice it. El Guaton has three different restaurants in Viña, and the price of one of this, is just something around 5 bucks. Now that is big, tasty and cheap, just perfect!

Meat Pizza
During the weekend I ate a lot. We went out for sushi and meat, but the most interesting food we had was in a small restaurant in a corner of Palermo. I was going to order steak, but the waiter insisted that we should try their most famous dish: “Matambre a la pizza”. Matambre is a word game that means something like “Hunger Killer” and what describes it the best is it´s pizza variation. Think of an italian pizza but without dough, instead it has meat, it looks nasty but it tastes really good. “Matambre a la pizza” is served in almost all small steak houses in Buenos Aires, if you have the chance order it, but don´t be ambicious, one of this is more than enough for three people.
