Stats for June

July 1, 2007 at 9:10 am 2 comments

June is over and we have the final traffic stats for this month. ChileHardware did fine, considering June is a 30 day long month, we had only 2000 readers less than during May, but if we had one day more, just like during May, we should had broke our over all month record. We are trying some new stuff, like writing during weekends, we don´t write as much as during the week, but a couple of news pumps up our daily traffic during weekends in something like 10-20%. This improvement adds overall to our monthly traffic. We just started doing this two weeks ago, so the global improvement should be noticed during July. We have confidence that during July we should break the 600k uniques milestone.

TecnoSquad is doing better everyday, we just launched this proyect 9 and a half months ago, and results have been quite surprising. June was our best month since we opened our doors, and the last week was the best one overall. We are more than confident that we should break 100k uniques during July and we have a new goal, reaching 120k before TecnoSquad´s first birthday.

Overall things are working great. We´ve been working a lot, but having an answer to our work, which is shown in our traffic statistics. We hope someday, who know maybe in the next 12 months we can achieve 1 million unique visits a month in our network. When that day comes I will feel acomplished, but we won´t stop working, as soon as we reach new milestones we quickly set up new ones, it´s the only way to be competitive in the world nowadays.

Nice increase in traffic since the beginning of this year for both sites. Looks like CHW is doing really good 🙂
