ofertasrigam1.pngDuring june I met twice with the owner of a small retail store in Chile who is advertising in ChileHardware for quite a long time. He told us the branding part was over, he needed a new way to continue paying us, and getting revenue over that pay. You know, let´s keep being friends, but let´s manage a way I can earn money too. And that is the important part of doing business, it´s not just selling and getting the hell out of the place or the deal, it´s selling and keeping your relationships with your customers so they buy from you again. This is very simple, and is just the basic deal of all business, I´m not telling you anything new, Philip Kotler has being teaching it for decades.

Finally we came up with something that will use just the same ad space than before, but I´m sure will have a better revenue for our client. It´s a virtual showcase for their products, my partner Felipe Figueroa built it using RSS feeds and it just works 🙂

I´m always happy when clients are happy, this means they will buy ad spaces again, and ad spaces means money, which means we can still work on what we love, writing.
