BlogPower: Great event!

December 2, 2007 at 5:48 pm 7 comments

BlogPower was a huge success this last Saturday. The agenda was ran perfectly and we had lots of fun and what´s best, networking. I had the chance of meeting many interesting people, of which I only knew before for what they write in their weblogs, twitters, tumblelogs and flickrs. Our roundtable was one of the most commented, and it looks people had fun and understood they can earn some money from what they like, writing.

Overall a great event. Some problems with the WiFi connection although I´ve never been to a conference or event with a flawless one and trust me, I´ve been to many. I´m really looking forward for the next one. You can check pictures of the event at this Flickr Pool.

JF, thanks a lot for attending to our event. As one of the organizers I think Blogpower 2007 met one of theris goals with the panel where you were one of the speakers. So, thanks for that, for take your time for helping us while we were organizing it and for sharing your tips about how to build a successful website.
We also are looking forward for the next in 2008.
    Best regards

Yes. It is quite awesome how this was put together in so little time and with no money at all. Hopefully we will be able to keep up the enthusiasm but at the same time professionalize the event’s production. Perhaps next year we can have a couple of days, or stands, and a better blog and better distance participation. The experience you shared with us all was particularly inspiring, not to mention the computer you donated for the live encoding. Abrazos.

Wow! That looks like a cool meeting to be involved in. Not much nearby West Virginia, USA unfortunately for bloggers to get involved in.

In addition, your site statistics in the post below are amazing! It really gives me something to shoot for.
